Traci Goudy is a dedicated RN, who is the owner of Homecare By Design. As a member of the team, she contributes her knowledge and passion, as well as over 20 years of success and experience in senior services. Traci works hand-in-hand with each of her management leadership team and in-home care staff, as well as clients, their families and businesses in the surrounding areas. After the successful opening of several local senior living communities for companies such as Rosewalk Commons, Green Tree Assisted Living and University Place, Traci found the next natural step was to open her own business. After starting up a local home health company with a business partner, she founded her own private duty home care agency, Homecare By Design. Traci delights in finding new and innovative solutions to help families of all ages solve day-to-day problems, offering a variety of services and personalized options to help strengthen families and give them the quality at-home care that they deserve.
As a lifelong passion, Lee advocates for area families and businesses to gain and maintain financial resources. The resources include education and tools that prevent burdensome debt, debt that causes instability and jeopardizes both families and business health. Many years ago, Lee and Traci took Financial Peace University, a 13-week course offered locally at an area church. Lee grew passionate about the importance of becoming excellent managers of available resources. He worked with Traci to reduce both personal and business debt. In addition to their work through Homecare By Design, Lee and Traci personally coordinated and facilitated well over 200 Tippecanoe families, youth and Homecare By Design employees to live by the principles taught by Dave Ramsey. Both believe that finances touch every area of life:

Andrea comes to Homecare By Design with a history of working as a medical assistant and office manager. She currently serves as our Staffing and Scheduling Manager. Andrea’s high-energy ability to tackle problems and come up with innovative solutions makes her a perfect fit for this role in our agency. She especially enjoys serving seniors in any way she can. Having spent three years attending a Nursing Program at Ivy Tech Community College, she loves to use her knowledge to educate, advise and train Caregivers. Though scheduling and managing 50+ field staff can sometimes challenging, Andrea keeps a positive, upbeat and humorous attitude as she gives her best to live up to our motto of “bettering the world, one life at a time”.
Diana began working for Homecare By Design in 2008 as a Caregiver, but because of her knack for excellent service and 20 years of Senior Care experience, she was promoted to Caregiver Ambassador in 2012. As a Caregiver Ambassador, Diana spends her work life ensuring high quality customer service, supervising the care provided by our field staff and supervising continuous quality improvement. She conducts several Home Visits each week to welcome new clients, serve the current clients and mentor Caregivers. Diana is also a cancer survivor and spends time supporting others who are struggling through it. She has 3 sons and 3 grandchildren.
Though Hope is barely into her twenties, she comes to Homecare By Design with skill and knowledge that surprises many. If you visit our office, you will be greeted by Hope’s bright smile and sunny disposition. She initially worked as the Administrative Assistant, but was then promoted to Scheduling and Staffing Manager. Six months later, Hope returned to Purdue University to pursue Professional Writing and began working part-time as our Marketing Coordinator. Hope loves to serve others, whether it’s in her church as a worship leader, across the world in the mission field or right here in the office. Hope lives in Lafayette with her parents, Traci and Lee. She hopes to learn as much as she can about Homecare By Design and touch as many lives as possible in her time here.
Derek brings his experience and knowledge to the table as he serves both in the office and as a Companion Caregiver. While he is in the process of earning a degree in Computer Programming & Software Development, Derek loves using his talents in computer technology by serving as the IT Tech Support Coordinator in the office. He also has the pleasure of providing companion care with some of our clients. His primary client says, “Derek is excellent company to have. He is a fine young man.” Though his work is mostly behind-the-scenes, Derek is sure to brighten your day with his helpful attitude and pleasant smile!
